How to Repurpose Content with AI

Content repurposing is the highest-leverage activity in content marketing. Creating original ideas is hard. Reformatting them for different platforms and audiences is comparatively easy — but still time-consuming without AI.

Bloomberry lets you take one long-form piece (blog post, podcast transcript, talk notes, newsletter) and extract all the value from it across multiple formats in a single session.

What you can repurpose

Source contentHow to inputWhat you can extract
Blog postPaste text or upload PDFLinkedIn posts, X threads, carousel, infographic
Podcast episodePaste transcriptLinkedIn post, X thread, blog article, carousel
Conference talkPaste slide notes or transcriptMultiple LinkedIn posts, carousel, blog recap
Email newsletterPaste textLinkedIn post, X thread, short-form social
Internal memo or reportPaste text or upload DOCXThought leadership posts, infographic, blog
Meeting notes / lessonsPaste rough notesLinkedIn post, X thread

The repurposing workflow

Step 1 — Input your source content

In the Writer, paste your source content directly into the concept area. If it's a PDF or DOCX, click the attachment icon to upload — Bloomberry extracts the text automatically.

Add context after the content:

Repurpose this for LinkedIn. Extract the most insightful point and build a post around it. Keep my voice.

Step 2 — Select your target formats

Select all the formats you want to generate. For a single long-form piece, you can typically get:

  • 3–5 LinkedIn posts (one per key idea)
  • 1–2 X threads (the main argument and a secondary angle)
  • 1 carousel (the list or framework)
  • 1 infographic (if there's data)

Step 3 — Generate the first batch

Generate all formats at once. Bloomberry reads your source content, identifies the most extractable ideas, and produces format-specific outputs.

Step 4 — Use chat to extract specific angles

Use the chat refinement to extract specific angles you want to explore:

  • "Now extract the counterintuitive insight from paragraph 3 as a hot-take LinkedIn post"
  • "Write an X thread about just the part on [specific topic]"
  • "Turn the stats section into an infographic structure"

Step 5 — Build a content queue

A 2,000-word blog post or 45-minute podcast transcript can yield 2–3 weeks of social content. Schedule all outputs into your Bloomberry queue with appropriate spacing.

Spacing repurposed content
Don't post all repurposed content in the same week — it looks repetitive to your audience. Space LinkedIn posts 3–5 days apart. Consider sequencing: LinkedIn post → X thread → carousel over 2 weeks.

The content pyramid

The highest-leverage content producers use a content pyramid:

  1. One flagship piece per week — a blog post, newsletter, or podcast episode that contains all your thinking
  2. 3–5 social posts from that piece — LinkedIn and X extractions of key ideas
  3. 1 visual asset from that piece — carousel, infographic, or image brief

This produces 5–7 pieces of content from a single block of original thinking. Bloomberry compresses steps 2 and 3 to under 30 minutes.
