Glossary

Key terms used throughout Bloomberry documentation and the product interface.

AI Voice

The system within Bloomberry that learns and stores your writing style. Composed of voice training, knowledge base, voice tuning, and the AI dialect filter.

Banned Phrases

A configurable list of words or phrases that Bloomberry will never generate. Includes a default list of common AI-isms and supports custom additions.

Concept

The raw input you provide to the Writer. Can be a single sentence, a few bullet points, or several paragraphs of rough notes. Bloomberry transforms this into polished content.

Connector

An authenticated link between Bloomberry and an external publishing platform (LinkedIn, X, etc.). Connectors are established via OAuth and stored in social_connections.

Digital Twin

Historical name for the AI Voice feature. The "digital twin" referred to the AI model of your writing persona. Now referred to as "Voice Training" in the settings UI.

Edit Learning

The mechanism by which post-generation edits you make are used to improve future generations. Each substantive edit is a training signal.

Fingerprint

The analyzed voice profile derived from your training samples. Stored as structured data that captures your unique linguistic patterns.

Format

The output type for generated content. Bloomberry supports six formats: LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Blog, Image, Infographic, and Carousel.

Knowledge Base

A collection of factual entries about you, your audience, and your writing preferences. Used to ground AI generation in your real context.

Nudge

A contextual suggestion shown in the Writer that prompts you to add more context, try a different format, or improve a generated output. Nudges are AI-generated based on the current session.

Post Queue

An ordered list of scheduled posts waiting to be published. Posts in the queue are published automatically at their scheduled time.

Prompt Chips

Clickable suggestion cards shown below the Writer text area on the home screen. Each chip suggests a content topic or angle. Clicking a chip pre-fills the Writer with a concept.

Regeneration

Requesting a new AI-generated version of an output within an existing session. Each regeneration uses a refinement instruction or the original concept with variation. Limited to 3 per session on Starter.

Session

A Writer conversation unit. One session = one concept → generation → refinement flow. Sessions are stored in session history and can be saved as projects. Each session counts against your monthly chat limit.

Spotlight Module

A carousel of onboarding cards shown below the prompt chips in the Writer. Shows contextual product tips, prompts to train your voice, and prompts to connect accounts.

Style

The tonal register for generation. Three options: Polished (formal, executive), Natural (conversational, authentic), Punchy (high-energy, short sentences).

Voice Training

The process of uploading writing samples so Bloomberry can analyze and learn your unique writing style. Minimum 3 samples and 500 total words to run analysis.

Voice Tuning

Manual fine-tuning of 9 axes of your voice profile: Temperature, Directness, Warmth, Wit, Energy, Formality, Verbosity, Edginess, Confidence.
